The definition of a Downsizer is “a person who moves to a smaller property, typically after they retire”. In The Hills District, we represent a growing population of downsizers who are looking to sell their family home and move to a smaller, more manageable property and enjoy their retirement.
Over the last 15 years we have successfully helped dozens of clients achieve their downsizing goal, however quite often this process is time-consuming and stressful for them. There are a number of reasons for this, including having to pack up their family home and a lifetime of possessions to fit into a much smaller sized home, feeling stressed about preparing their home for sale and getting ready for open homes. It usually has been a number of years since they have bought or sold property and the whole process and where to start can seem overwhelming.
